90°Privacy policy
In short: The 90° app collects no personal data. There is no account, no analytics, no tracking and no advertising. All measurements stay on your iPhone.

2. The 90° app
No data transfer
The app works fully offline. It sends no data to me or to third parties. No analytics, tracking or advertising services are included.
Sensors
For the level, angle and plan features the app uses your iPhone's accelerometer and gyroscope. The values are processed on the device only and are not stored unless you save a measurement to the log.
Camera and LiDAR
For AR measure and Height the app uses the camera and, where available, the LiDAR scanner. The camera is only activated after you allow it in iOS. Camera images and depth data are processed in real time on the device only. No photos or videos are stored or transmitted. You can revoke access at any time in iOS Settings.
Saved measurements and settings
Measurements you save to the log and your settings are stored locally in the app on your iPhone. If you use iCloud or device backups, this data may be part of your backup. Apple manages these backups; I have no access to them. Deleting the app removes all of its data.
Purchase and download
The app is distributed through Apple's App Store. Apple handles the purchase, payment and download and processes data under its own responsibility. I receive no personal data about you from Apple, only aggregated sales figures. See Apple's privacy policy.
Crash reports
If you have enabled "Analytics & Improvements" and sharing with app developers in iOS, Apple provides me with anonymised crash reports. They contain no information that identifies you. You control this in iOS Settings under Privacy & Security.
3. Contact by email
If you email me, I process your email address and the content of your message to answer your request (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR). The data is deleted once the request has been dealt with and no statutory retention obligations apply.
4. This website
This website uses no cookies and no analytics tools, and loads no external fonts or scripts.
When you visit, the hosting provider processes technically necessary data such as IP address, time, requested page and browser information in server log files to deliver the website and keep it secure (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Hosting provider: Hostinger International Ltd., 61 Lordou Vironos str., 6023 Larnaca, Cyprus. A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place with Hostinger. Log files are kept only as long as needed for operation and security, then deleted.
5. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and to object to processing (Art. 15–21 GDPR). Contact me at the email address above.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The authority responsible for me is the Saxon Data Protection and Transparency Commissioner (Sächsische Datenschutz- und Transparenzbeauftragte), Devrientstraße 5, 01067 Dresden, Germany.
6. Changes
If the app or legal requirements change, I will update this policy. The version published here applies.
